Leicester City Women’s home match against Barclay’s FA WSL side Everton has been brought forward 24 hours due to the upcoming General Election.
- Jonathan Morgan’s side will host Everton on Wednesday 11 December
- The fixture has been brought forward 24 hours due to the General Election on Thursday 12 December
- The match is the final group fixture in the Continental Cup campaign
Leicester City Women’s home Continental Cup fixture against Everton has been brought forward to Wednesday 11 December. This is due to Farley Way Stadium being used as a polling station for the upcoming General Election on Thursday 12 December.
The Fixture is the final group match in the 2019/20 Continental Cup campaign with the Foxes currently in fifth ahead of their trip to Manchester United next Thursday.
Everton is also without a win in the competition this season, Willie Kirk’s side suffered a 1-0 defeat to Birmingham City before a 3-0 defeat against Manchester United.
The Foxes are the only Women’s Championship side in the group and suffered defeat in both matches so far this season, a 5-0 defeat away to Manchester City before a 4-1 defeat at home against Birmingham City.
